Content Policy
What you can and cannot create with image2img, what happens when a request is blocked, and how to report a problem.
Last updated Oct 27, 2026
image2img is for everyday photo fun and practical edits. To keep it safe for everyone, some things are not allowed. This policy applies to the photos you upload, the text you type and the images you create.
What is not allowed
- Adult content. Nudity, sexual content or sexualised images of anyone.
- Minors. Photos or images of children and teenagers. Please do not upload them.
- Celebrity and real-person face swaps. Putting a well-known person's face on someone else, or creating fake images of real people that could mislead, embarrass or harm them.
- Graphic violence. Gore, serious injury, or content that glorifies violence or self-harm.
- Harassment and deception. Anything meant to bully, threaten, impersonate or deceive someone.
- Anything illegal, or that breaks someone else's rights, for example photos you do not have permission to use.
How we check
Uploaded photos and prompts go through an automatic safety check before and while an image is generated. We may also review reports from users. Automatic checks are not perfect, so a request may occasionally be blocked by mistake, or something may get through that should not have.
What happens when something is blocked
- You will see a short explanation of why, and your photo and prompt stay on the page so you can change the prompt.
- A blocked request is free. It does not use up one of your free images for the day or any of your credits.
- Repeated attempts to get around the checks may lead us to limit or suspend access. See "Suspending or ending access" in our Terms of Service.
Report a problem
If you see an image or behaviour that breaks this policy, or you think your photo was used without permission, email support@image2img.net with a short description. For a copyright complaint, follow the steps in "Copyright and other complaints" in our Terms of Service. We will look into it and act where needed, for example by removing content or suspending access. If a request was blocked and you think that was a mistake, write to the same address.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service grows. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
